Last month, Chris Rock stepped out with Nigerian-American actress Megalyn Echinwoke and it raised a few eyebrows, especially because many people thought it was inappropriate of the comedian who is is still going through a sad divorce process with his wife of ten years, Malaak Comptom-Rock.At the just-concluded Academy Awards ceremony, Chris Rock stormed the red carpet with his mother Rosalie and Echinwoke, and it kicked off another conversation on the state of the two actors relationship.

But Echinwoke has just denied being in any relationship with him. “My name is Megalyn E.K. and I’m too busy for romance. Yeah I have work to do,” she said, tersely, before adding, in seemingly angry tones, “I think it’s pretty funny that people don’t have anything else to do, but hey if you want to talk about me, go right ahead. I’m pretty interesting I guess.”
People still feel that she is protecting their career and reputation, and this is so because cameras caught them cuddling when they thought people weren’t looking.
Guess it won’t be long before the cat is let out of the bag.
