The Senate, on Wednesday, March 2, made big changes to the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) policies.
The UTME registration fees has now been reduced to N2, 500 as opposed to N5,650 which was paid by students this year. The senate has also recommended for the extension of the validity period of the UTME to three academic year.

These resolutions were taken following the adoption of the report of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund on the inquiry into the new admission policy of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
